On December 26, 2021, at Tam Dao National Park, Cocoon and AAF signed a partnership agreement to "Together to rescue and protect Moon Bears" and launched a special limited edition. This first-ever collaboration also officially marks an essential milestone for Cocoon in translating its commitments into tangible activities with real value for animals, specifically the endangered bear species in Vietnam's natural habitats - Moon Bear.
Following this agreement, both parties will collaborate to launch the limited edition "Together to rescue and protect Moon Bears" of the Dak Lak Coffee Body Polish product.
This limited edition version is adorned with a new yellow outfit, symbolising happiness, optimism, and joy, along with the adorable image of Moonie, the bear cub, happily playing. The phrase "Together to rescue and protect Moon Bears" is prominently displayed on the packaging to convey this meaningful message to consumers strongly. In addition, Cocoon x AAF has also added a QR code for users to scan and explore more stories about the lives of bears at the Vietnam Bear Sanctuary.
For each limited edition sold, Cocoon will contribute 10,000 VND to the fund of the Asian Animal Foundation in Vietnam to support activities such as:
- Rescuing bears that are currently kept in captivity.
- Sustaining the operations of conservation centres.
- Rehabilitating bear habitats and ensuring nutritious meals for the bears.
