Alongside proteins, minerals, and essential oils, the key component in turmeric is curcumin, an extremely valuable compound. It is a natural polyphenol with powerful antioxidant properties (multiple times stronger than vitamin E) and possesses antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, aiding in the rapid healing of skin damage. Curcumin also partially inhibits the overproduction of melanin, thereby restoring the natural brightness of the skin.

Throughout our research journey, we discovered that turmeric grown in Hung Yen contains three times the amount of curcumin compared to turmeric grown in other areas. Turmeric has been widely recognized in traditional folk medicine for its efficacy in healing scars and fading dark spots. However, one drawback is its intense yellow color that may leave a residue on the skin, causing hesitation for some individuals. Through extensive research, we have unlocked and refined the properties of dark yellow turmeric cultivated in Hung Yen, retaining only the purest nutrients to restore brightness to dull skin without causing a yellowish appearance.

An optimal concentration in the cleansing system that moisturizes and lowers the skin's pH, allowing the subsequent toner step (5% AHA turmeric water) to be more effective. AHA, including Lactic Acid derived from sugar and Glycolic Acid extracted from sugarcane, consists of small molecules that easily penetrate the skin, gently exfoliating dull and aging dead skin cells by weakening the desmosome bonds between cells, resulting in smoother, brighter skin, reducing wrinkles, and improving skin texture.
