Winter melon belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family and is commonly used in Vietnam, Thailand, India, and other tropical countries for traditional medicine. It contains amino acids, mucins, minerals, vitamins B and C. Research on this fruit has identified two triterpenes, alunsenol and mutiflorenol, which have potent antioxidant effects.
According to traditional medicine, winter melon can cool off the inside heat and offers anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Thus, it helps to control comedonal acne, inflammatory acne, and burn marks.

It has antibacterial and antioxidant properties, limiting the formation of free radicals, thereby regulating and soothing inflammatory acne.
With 2% BHA, it effectively exfoliates dead skin cells, thus promoting pore unclogging and significantly improving acne conditions. It also helps fade dark spots and prevent the formation of new acne.
The formula includes Lactic Acid derived from sugar and Glycolic Acid extracted from sugarcane. These small molecules easily penetrate the skin, gently exfoliating dull and aging dead skin cells by weakening the desmosome bonds between cells. This results in smoother, brighter skin, reduced wrinkles, and improved skin texture.
